Our good friends at WTFDetroit.com passed along the following image that they created today from merging the Twitter feeds of Keith Langlois (Official Detroit Pistons Propagandist,) Vince Ellis (Detroit Free Press Pistons Beat Writer) and Vincent Goodwill (Detroit News.)
Notice anything SHADY about that timeline? If one didn’t know any better, you would think that GoodShill woke up on Monday morning and just COPIED and PASTED Langlois’s Tweet and mashed it with Ellis’s.
It would appear that Goodwill has gone from the unofficial team shill of the Detroit Pistons to straight-up plagiarist. Or maybe he is just sampling.
Of course, what could you possibly expect from a guy who has been trained for this position by noted journalistic icons, Terry Foster and Rob Parker?
And maybe there is an explanation for why GoodShill’s Tweet is basically worded EXACTLY like the ones that preceded his Tweet. You really can’t input much information in 140 characters.
Copy and Paste, huh???
Just the name?
Keep in mind, this is the same guy who refused to give Adrian Wojnarowski credit last week when the Yahoo! Sports NBA scribe broke the news of the Cory Maggette/Ben Gordon trade. Just moments after Woj Tweeted about the deal, GoodShill posted that sources had informed the News that the trade was done.
Yep, the same SOURCES that everyone else on Twitter had. The handle of @WojYahooNBA.
