And the “winner” of the DetroitSportsRag.com’s Worst Detroit Sports Media Tournament is …………

Like, could it have been anyone other than this monumental douche bag? Nope, the five-tool imbecile cruised through the tournament like he was on a mission to avenge his 2012 Finals loss at the hands of Michael RosenNebbish.

Terry Foster started off his run to the title by shutting out his fellow News co-worker John Niyo. From there, “The Truth” spanked another former cohort and current Detroit Lions propagandist Mike O’Hara 95-5.

In the third round, Foster continued his absolute dominance by crushing Chris “Officer Barbrady” McCosky 89-11. It was after this trashing that we at the DSR could see something special was happening. Yes, Foster was in BY FAR the toughest regional, but if total dolt McCosky couldn’t challenge the 97.1 host, who would?

We found out in the next round that even the universally despised Drew Sharp couldn’t derail the Foster juggernaut, as Foster’s co-writer on the “Great Detroit Sports Debate” book lost 76-24.

(One of Moss’ ex-girlfriends actually bought Jeff that book. And not as a gag. You will note she is an ex.)

Frodo Albom offered no resistance either, as Foster dominated the Little Feller 79-21.

That earned Foster a Finals berth against his protege, Vincent Goodshill, where the student was no obstacle for the master as the Pistons beat writer lost 69-31, which left Goodwill shaking his head.

It hasn’t been a good year for Foster and being crowned the Worst Detroit Sports media member — the equivalent of being the most vile inmate on Death Row — is just the latest indignity.

First, Foster opened a restaurant in Fraser that didn’t last as long as Kim Kardashian’s marriage. And to this day, the pathological liar continues to tell people that the restaurant was profitable and is going to open at a new location.

Only 10% of restaurants turn a profit in the first year. Do you know the percentage of restaurants that make money in the first year when they go out of business after 124 days? Ummm, none.

Then CBS Radio played hardball with Foster during his recent contract negotiations as the execs at 97.1 are fully aware that the success of the “Valenti and Foster” show rests on Mike Valenti’s shoulders and not Liar Liar’s. In fact, people inside the CBS compound informed the DSR that Valenti himself would have preferred if WXYT let Foster go and replaced him with Bob Wojnowski.

Foster eventually re-signed with 97.1 for less money than he desired and there are still whispers out there that Wojo could eventually bump Foster from the highly-rated afternoon drive program.

Foster dominated this tournament for many reasons. All of the lying. The horrible blog he maintains, which is littered with grammatical errors. His lowest common denominator radio persona. His horrid takes in the News, like his recent “Bill Laimbeer should be the next Pistons coach” column. And probably most importantly, his abortion of a Twitter feed.

It almost isn’t fair to the rest of the competition to include Foster in the bracket. In fact, if we do this again in 2016, the committee will have to think long and hard about leaving him out just so someone else can win. Seriously, Foster is to this process what Mario Lemieux was to NHL Fantasy Leagues during the late eighties.

Anyway, we thank you for participating over the last couple of weeks. We will now engrave the M.L. Curly Memorial Trophy with Foster’s name and we plan on personally delivering this piece of hardware to T-Fos in the very near future.

And the cameras will be rolling …..
