Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines threw one helluva party yesterday on National Signing Day. Also known as the day when 40-something-year-old men sit around spanking it to the decision of 17-year-old boys.
Or as we like to call National Signing Day at the DSR, “Charles Pugh Day.”
We really don’t give a damn about recruiting but we did have our reporter “Melrose Jerry Green” in Ann Arbor for the festivities. The site’s very polite “Stuttering John” stalked the Panera Bread where all of the Detroit sports media members were hanging out.
The following video will show Faux Jerry Green’s interactions with Mark Snyder, Brad Galli, Tony Paul, Angelique Chengelis, Jeff Seidel and many, many others.
The encounter with Snyder kills me. (Although Melrose refused to ask Snyder my best question. “Why has the acting work dried up since Ratatouille?”)
The kid still has a lot to learn …..
