Because Detroit Sports 105.1 program director Dave Shore must think it is 2004 and is bankrupt of any ideas to save the flailing sports talker from impending doom, the station is currently running auditions for a LISTENER to get an air shift or two on the weekend.

Can you imagine? This colossal moron thinks ratings success can be had by just running an American Idol-esque promotion and introducing crosstalk between programs!!!!!! Well, that and giving the public what they REALLY want. More Rob Parker and Drew Sharp.

Anyway, being the dick that I am, I decided to “audition” today. Well, if you think berating the station for two minutes in front of two shocked interns is auditioning.

I Periscoped the festivities. I was actually at the Tim Horton’s in Wayne on other business but that mystery won’t be revealed for a couple of weeks.
