This week’s DSR Podcast was filled with chicanery as someone deleted the DSR File at Podcast Detroit causing the show to be delayed for seven minutes. The program was also interrupted several times for glitches and a gunshot was heard outside the studio near the end of the broadcast.

We surmise this all was the handiwork of fellow Podcast Detroit broadcaster Theo Spight. You might know Mr. Spight as the gentleman who sings “Forward Down the Field” at Lions games after a rare home team touchdown. Spight is the DSR’s Lex Luthor and is definitely “not down” with the site.

I’ll say this once and once only. I don’t get down with DSR. That’s not how I wanna make a name for myself. They are lying.

We have no concrete evidence that Theo disrupted our show out of Spight, but our crack investigative team is working on this ordeal.

Anyway, the program did go off as planned as Spiro and Myst discussed Matt Dery’s “loose” comments and broke down the bracket for the DSR Tournament of 64 Detroit Sports Media Losers.

There was also a short talk with Jasper Apollonia regarding the Pistons acquisition of Tobias Harris which quickly led into a discussion of Jasper’s girlfriend getting hit on by Steven Stamkos.

What we are trying to say is the show was a real mess.
