Yesterday I interviewed Eli Zaret on the weekly DSR Podcast. If you are one of the millennial members of the audience, here is a quick bio on Zaret:

  • Sports anchor at WDIV-4. Hosted the Tigers pregame show on that station.
  • Sports anchor at WJBK-2.
  • C0-hosted a morning radio show in Detroit with Tigers 31-game winner Denny McLain.
  • Hosted “The Locker Room” on AM1270 with Gary Danielson and Kirk Gibson.
  • Contributed to the Pistons broadcasts on Fox Sports Detroit from 2005 to 2011.
  • At one point or another, was doing sports on almost every single rock station in Detroit.
  • Author

So as you can tell from that CV, we had a lot to discuss. In case you are too lazy to listen to the entire Podcast, I have isolated some of the highlights from our one-hour plus discussion.
