Last week we purchased the crusty old sofa Jim Leyland used to sleep on in the Tigers clubhouse and today we destroyed it to release our collective blue balls frustration we have suffered the last ten years waiting for the city’s first World Series since 1984.

If you would like a piece of the sofa’s upholstery, please send $25 to the DSR’s Paypal account at DetroitSportsRag@GMail.com. Specify you want a piece of the sofa and include your mailing address. The $25 will go to the University of Penn Abramson Cancer Center.
