It’s actually pretty simple. If you appreciate the DetroitSportsRag and would like to donate money to keep the website up and running so we don’t have to operate this thing at a loss then please do so.
If you like the DetroitSportsRag and don’t want to donate any money™ (Stanley Malewski) for the entertainment value you are receiving … well that’s cool also.
If you hate me, the DSR and want to see me dead, well, I am not sure why you are reading this. Oh right, you can’t help yourself.
Ok, GoFundMe is now giving me some “writing tips” with suggested questions so maybe I should answer them.
Who are you?
Some people call me Jeff Moss. Others refer to me as Joff Mess. I have other aliases such as Jiff Myst, Juff Muss, Juff Mest and That Scumbag with the Detroit Sports Website Who Torments Anthony Fenech.
Who (or what) are you raising money for?
For me. We are going to start attempting to actually make money on the DSR so contributors can get paid. And I am one of the contributors. This includes hopefully procuring advertisers on the Podcast as well which if all goes well could get expanded to three shows a week. If not more.
How will the money be used?
Well, I do like a horse in the 8th race at Belmont on Saturday. There is also supposedly a rub-and-tug business within walking distance of our new Podcast Detroit studio. Melissa Myst has also had her eye on a Louis Vuitton purse. That kind of stuff along with the rest of the DSR expenses like studio time and engraving Drew Sharp’s name on a trophy.
How soon do we need the funds?
Pretty quick. It’s either this or sell Jasper Apollonia’s body out for prostitution. Which I am guessing would be way more lucrative.

(And yes, I did embed an annoying autoplay for the DSR Podcast in a blog post asking for money. It says I’m an asshole right on the masthead. Stop acting shocked.)
